On behalf of all that deal with numbers of people all at once or in a day,let me speak. It’s not easy to remember an individual’s particulars or details of a case .
I do understand that when an individual is called by name & treated as if he/she were the only patient(in a doctor’s case) or only student(in a learning environment),they feel more than special. The perception of an undivided attention brings a euphoric feeling….I know but please,give the service provider a break.
It’s difficult to remember each individual client and individual “file” details. That’s not arrogance but it’s because of the number of people he/she deals with. Info in an individual won’t be on their fingertips. On the contrary,it’s easier for a client/student/customer to remember their service provider in detail.
