Battle in the Mind – Opposing Forces

Waking up today was a huge fight. I mean I slept 7 hours;2am to 9am. Hence I find it difficult to comprehend this statement by #Gartenburg. “When you wake up, you have something called “sleep inertia.” It can last for as long as two hours. That’s why you get that groggy feeling, and if you’re sleep deprived, it’s going to be worse, too. Studies also show that if you wake up while in deep sleep, you’re going to have worse sleep.” 🛌💤

Well OK there is the exam issue and yesterday I had so much energy, momentum and drive ass I studied the whole day. PhD loading come hail come thunder.. Will get there.

I can’t allow this exam sitting 📚👨🏽‍🎓 to slip through my fingers so that’s one of the MAJOR FORCES fighting against FATIGUE and SLEEP inertia it it be.

The other FORCE which is pushing me to push against the urge to stop and avoid burnout is the important obligation of responsibilities. (Under the covid_19 and lockdown circumstances) Not heeding to it will just cause more secondary challenges when the basic needs of life are not met. 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

So…. like a Marine, Special Forces *behind enemy lines* , I have to ignore all the PAIN, AGONY, NEGATIVITY e. t. c. I got to get out,.. I gotta empower myself against all odds.

I have to correctly position myself now in preparation for the future, which can be unpredictable. One predictable and undeniable aspect is aging, and I must be able then, to work smarter and not harder. Using brains and not physic.

So both opposing sides weighed. It’s get up and go soldier. Thats me. I can and I will.
